Google Maps now shows 'Gulf of America'

Google Maps now displays “Gulf of America” instead of “Gulf of Mexico” for US users after the Trump administration officially changed the name. In Mexico, the original name remains, while the rest of the world sees both. Google says it follows US geographic databases, using location data to determine which name you see. Meanwhile, Apple Maps and others haven’t been updated—yet.
