Mahindra-owned hypercar becomes world's fastest street-legal car
The Battista hypercar from Mahindra-owned luxury Italian carmaker Automobili Pininfarina has become the “world’s fastest street-legal vehicle.” The battery-powered car can achieve a top speed of 0-100 in 1.79 seconds, breaking the record of Rimac Nevera, which clocked 0-60 mph in 1.86 seconds. Pininfarina will build only 150 units of Battista, which will be up for sale starting at $2.25 million.
