Car thieves are using 'relay attack' to steal newer model vehicles

TikToker Brian Mello says thieves are using an antenna to intercept a key fob signal from inside homes, tricking cars into thinking the key fob is nearby, allowing them to open the car without setting off alarms. This 'relay attack' method is especially effective because many people leave their keys near the front door. To prevent them, one can use a metal tin or a Faraday bag to block the key fob's signal.
